Brownie for Breakfast

I was planning on hitting up the gym this morning, but I was soo tired so I decided to go back to bed. I told myself that when Kyle was back to work I would get my butt to the gym everyday. I guess I can’t expect myself to do that when I didn’t go to the gym EVERYDAY at school. What an unrealistic goal…

I woke up and waited a little while before I had breakfast to get hungry. When I finally did I had this…

It was blueberry cluster cereal from Kashi mixed with fiber one in almond milk. Then topped with blackberries, a drizzle of almond butter, and an orange walnut brownie. Yummm.

It was delicious. Now, I’m gonna go walk the dog in a bit and ride bikes with a friend. Today Kyle and I have an ice cream date with another couple. Funn! I’m getting soo sick of ice cream, but I really want to see them. We’ll see if I order anything…

And tomorrow I probably won’t post anything because I have to go back to Charleston (3 hr. drive) to pack up the rest of my apartment and put it in a storage shed. I’ll be gone ALLL day!

A Birthday Celebration and Frustration

Sorry I’ve been neglecting you guys. To be honest, I get kinda discouraged fast and with the lack of comments it is discouraging to me and wonder if there’s anyone really reading or if people like my blog. If you are reading and have ANY suggestions let me know!

Well let me start by saying it’s my dad’s birthday today! We went out for breakfast this morning and I ordered a veggie egg white omlet with tomatoes and dry wheat toast on the side. It was delicious. However, I hate going out to breakfast. It’s probably the meal I hate most to go out for because I like to make my own breakfast and add as much PB and banans as I want! 😉 A couple hours later I was hungry again and ate my shakeology.

Then I decided to make a bake. I’ve been wanting to bake for sometime now and just decided to today. I made orange walnut brownies.

They were delicious and soo moist! Great for a sweet tooth!

I decided then to go walk the dog and play with Howie all day long! Boy! He’s tiring! I wish I had all that energy! Then it was time for dinner! My dad wanted gyros. I don’t eat those so I ordered a greek salad. Sorry for the lack of pictures I just always forget about them!

Then it was time to sing Happy Birthday! The old man is 54 this year!

We had cheesecake for his birthday with apple and cherry toppings! I put apple topping on mine and now I’m stuffed and feeling a little guilty not gonna lie. I have vacation coming up in July and not gonna lie, I’m scared to look at myself in a swimsuit! :O

It’s like I went from never allowing myself to eat anything to now thinking ” I can have it because I need to up my calorie intake anyways” and I think also to prove to myself that I’m not restricting. This ED thing is soo complicated I swear. Why can’t I just be normal about food?! UGH!

Have you ever had these same thoughts before?

A New Day

Hey everyone!

I hope your day is going fantastic!

So recently I’ve been having a little trouble eating a little too much to the point where I’m almost overly stuffed! So today I wanted to cut that out and start eating a little better!

But here’s my ice cream from last night haha

This was a mix of oreo and cheesecake ice cream…you think it would be good kinda like a piece of oreo cheesecake! Nope…I was very disappointed, it was gross.

This morning started with banana protein pancakes with egg whites and spinach on the side dipped into some SF syrup. Now, I rarely ever use SF syrup. Usually I use low sugar because the SF kind contains aspartame which is an artificial sweetener. I try to stay far away from those.

I then took Howie and Armani (my dog) for a walk to the park. We stayed there for a little bit so I could get Howie and Armani away from Kyle and my dad. My dad and Kyle were working on building Howie a swing set! It’s coming out great. Tomorrow it should be done! I’ll make sure to take pictures!

When we got home I made Howie and myself lunch. I made Howie ravioli with a piece of buttered bread and I had this:

This was 2 pieces of falafel, piece of chicken, broc and cauliflower, a sliced pear, and some blackberries. It was delicious, but now my stomach hurts a little so I’m gonna go lay down!

More frozen yogurt

Sorry I didn’t post yesterday! I’ve been soo busy!

Kyle and I have gotten ice cream pretty much every night for more than a week straight now. But last night my sister, her husband, and my nephew tagged along! This was last’s night’s latest concoction. Mine was a mix of strawberry and dutch chocolate frozen yogurt with a chocolate covered banana mixed in. Kyle’s is a mix of butterfinger and cookie dough. The lady put in soo much cookie dough, Kyle didn’t eat them all so I ate a few!

And here is a pic of Howie with sundae all over his face! 🙂

This morning started with a bowl of cereal for both Kyle and I. Then we were out the door to get our hair cuts and my hair colored.

I got an ombre look with layered layers and Kyle just got a trim. This is what my hair looks like…

Then we met up with my mom, Howie, and my sister for lunch at Boston’s. Kyle had a burger and I ordered a Mediterranean salad. Sorry no pic! 😦

🙂 and Now I’m about to have myself a glass of wine! Burgers for dinner. I’ll post more later! 😉

A Walk in the Park

Kyle and I woke up pretty early today. We woke up at about seven. Well, really I did and then I woke him up! 😉 My morning started with a cup of coffee and some peanut butter chocolate shakeology. We lounged for a little bit and then at about ten o’clock Howie came over and we decided to take him to the park!
 It’s so nice out today. It’s about 60 degrees and sunny here in Chicago.

We came home a few hours later and I wasn’t hungry, but decided to eat. I had this.

This was bib lettuce with two falafel balls on top and a few olives with feta cheese. On the side I had grape tomatoes, green peppers, and snap peas dipped in yogurt greek tatziki dip. Then after this picture was taken I had a few pieces of chicken and maybe a piece of a cinnabon and chocolate cheesecake. :/

I just can’t seem to beat this sweet tooth! Any suggestions?

Do you ever have bad weeks? Do you beat yourself up about it? I need some help. :/
